Method of Resetting the waste ink pad counter of the printer Epson printer will ask for resetting waste ink pad counter when it has been used for some time, and sometimes it will prompt there is something wrong with printer hardware, sometimes it will not prompt, but the paper feeding key and ink cartridge exchanging key will flash at the same time, or the ink cartridge exchanging key and power key flashes alternately. There are mainly three kinds of method of resetting the counter: SSC Utility method, Adjustment program method and Manual method. l SSC Utility (1)Download SSC Utility software and unzip it. (2) Install A. Click sscserve.exe to start the installation. B. Select the model Click sscserve.exe icon and the main window will appear. Enter into configuration and select the model corresponding to printer to be installed in Installed Printer and Print model.
(2) Close the main windowwindow printer icon will appear at the right lower corner of computer screen.
In the future, just click “ssc” icon on the desktop to activate ssc program.
(3)Reset waste ink pad counter Right click SSC icon at the right lower corner of computer screen.
After having restarted printer, the red light will disappear, indicating that waster ink pad counter have been resetted successfully. ully. If the red light keeps on, just repeat the above steps. l Adjustment program Method

During power off, press the paper feeding key and cleaning key and hold on to power on, and then release after the paper feeding key light flashes for 2-3 times, press the cleaning key for around 13 seconds, the indicators will flash simultaneously and then turn off, the trouble is removed. |
